East Bay Center for the Performing Arts
According to Jordan Simmons, Artistic Director at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, their satisfaction stems from SOLTECH’s ability to find a good solution while staying on budget.
“SOLTECH was really able to help us out as a Non-Profit Organization. We were impressed with SOLTECH’s ability to find a cost efficient solution. They provided a good service at a good cost.”
The East Bay Center for the Performing Arts was seeking help implementing improvements on their website. Specifically, they wanted to add more functionality to their online donations system in order to gather more information from donors, as well as improve the security of the website, leading to donors feeling more secure when putting vital information online. A key differentiator of this case was getting it done quickly while still adhering to the budget East Bay Center for the Performing Arts had set.
SOLTECH utilized Dot Net Nuke, an open source content management platform, to install and implement a module that would allow both the heightened security and the data tracking that East Bay Center for the Performing arts required. The module was deployed in a way that would allow future changes to be made to the module by East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, without the need for outside IT assistance. The project was on time and on budget, which was very important to the client, as previous IT vendors were unable to meet these requirements.
The East Bay Center for the Performing Arts is very satisfied with the functionality that the new website offers them. With the new website design, the staff at East Bay feel that they have a new level of prestige and integrity, which puts them on par with much larger NPO’s with more resources. They believe this will cause more people who are driven to the website to use the “Donate Online” feature, bringing in more funds and allowing them to collect detailed information about donors.
