Greenway Health was founded in 1998 with a commitment to design and deliver a fully integrated electronic health record (EHR/EMR), practice management (PM) and interoperability solution — a solution that helps healthcare providers improve care coordination, quality and satisfaction while functioning at their highest level of efficiency.

Business Challenge

In 2012, Greenway needed assistance in rapidly staffing their Retail Services development team in order to implement one of the largest EHR installations in the country.  During this time, Greenway’s HealthCloud EHR application, which supports 8,200+ locations, 50,000+ concurrent users and over 125,000+ patient encounters in a single day, was being rolled out nationally to a large drug retail chain. In addition, the HealthCloud EHR application needed to be extended to integrate with the drug retail chain’s pharmacy systems.

SOLTECH worked with Greenway Health to recruit a large number of full stack .Net software developers, database developers and quality assurance engineers to make the new EHR implementation a success.

Business Solution

SOLTECH’s Staffing Services team proactively sources and recruits software development professionals so that we are able to quickly identify the appropriate talent necessary to meet our client’s needs.  What separates us from our competition is that all candidates go through the same rigorous evaluation process that we follow when we hire employees to our own Project Services development team.  Our clients place a high value on the hours that we spend in meeting with, and personally technically evaluating, all candidates prior to submittal.

For Greenway, we layered on their specific requirements around deep architecture and enterprise level expertise to successfully staff an initial team of 5 senior .NET developers.  Soon thereafter, we were asked to ramp up a team of 4 QA engineers to assist with the functional and system testing efforts.  Then on an ongoing basis, SOLTECH continued to provide impactful staffing services as the team needed additional resources, either on a short-term, or long-term basis.
