Michael has worked in technology for over 15 years, initially as a software engineer and now as SVP of Product Development for Influence Health. In his current role, Michael oversees product design and development for creating the next generation of healthcare engagement solutions.

Michael currently manages the product and software development for the Digital Marketing solution set at Influence Health. Previously his work at BrightWhistle produced the latest generation of healthcare digital marketing technology, landing BrightWhistle as a Facebook Innovation Competition Award winner.
Michael now serves as Influence Health’s chief liaison to Facebook and Twitter, while also working closely with the Georgia Tech College of Computing on topics such as healthcare privacy, HIPAA compliant system design and social media ethics. In his free time Michael volunteers with Teens Living With Cancer, a local support group for teens and young adult cancer patients.
Michael is an active presenter at healthcare conferences and has held speaking engagements on the topics of social media and healthcare at HIMSS, HMPS, HCIC, SHSMD, Health 2.0, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Tech.
