Business Challenge

The main challenge faced by Rinnai was the outdated and poorly optimized structure of their existing website. They had experienced a data breach, resulting in a loss of reporting capability. The site lacked a modern aesthetic and intuitive navigation, making it difficult for customers to find the information they needed. The website was not optimized for mobile devices, which is a significant disadvantage in today’s increasingly mobile-first digital landscape.

Solution

To address these challenges, SOLTECH partnered with Rinnai to provide them with PowerBI developers and a data warehouse architect to recover Rinnai’s reporting capability, comprised of over 200 reports and dashboards. SOLTECH undertook a complete overhaul of Rinnai’s website, implementing a responsive design to ensure optimal performance on all device types, improving the site’s navigation, and introducing a more modern and appealing visual design. In addition, SOLTECH developed a custom product catalog and an interactive product selector tool to help Rinnai’s customers easily find the products that best meet their needs. 

Impact

The new website has significantly enhanced Rinnai’s digital presence. It has improved the overall user experience, making it easier for customers to navigate Rinnai’s website and find the information they need. The responsive website design has also made the site more accessible to mobile users, broadening Rinnai’s reach and potential customer base. While this challenge caused setbacks for the organization, SOLTECH eased the recovery process and enabled Rinnai to pursue other projects while the reporting function was rebuilt.
